Madonna told to stop posting racy pics by Instagram

Compared to other photos Madonna has shared throughout her long career, the few she’s posted on Instagram are actually pretty tame. However, they are still too racy for Instagram, the pop queen claims.

In an image she posted on her Instagram page on Saturday, she received a notice from the Facebook-owned company that the photos have “violated our Community Guidelines.”

The statement asks Madonna not to share others’ photos, show “nudity or mature content,” “illegal content” and post “photos that attack an individual or group, or violate our Terms of Use.”

Madonna has only shared 20 photos with her 171,000 followers. She posted a few photos from her MDNA tour in November, but resurfaced earlier this month to share personal photos. She’s posted two images showing her cleavage and another showing her back, both which could be considered racy.

As E! News notes, the photos that may have prompted Instagram to tell her to stop sharing photos by others are two photos of Frida Kahlo, who she calls her “favorite artist.”

“Love her style!” she wrote as a caption for the second photo.

Madonna hasn’t taken down any of the possibly offending photos. In fact, just before the Oscars, she posted a photo of herself in a cleavage-bearing dress.
