Man slaps crying baby on flight, calls baby racial slur (Video)

On February 8, a man slapped a crying baby on a Delta flight that was heading toward Atlanta. The man yelled a racist comment, got put in handcuffs, and is being charged with assault.

The 60-year old man, Joe Rickey Hundley, was fed up with the infant boy's crying and slapped the infant child while the flight was about the land. According to The Associated Press the boy’s mother, 33-year-old Jessica Bennett of Minneapolis, said Hundley was sitting next to her and then slapped her child in the face, giving him a scratch under his right eye.

While Hundley slapped the child, he used the "n" word. According to Examiner.com the racial slur caused controversy in the case as well, and the accused man denies that he is a racist.

Hundley's attorney asked that the public make no judgements yet about the accused.
