Marilyn Manson collapses during concert

Gothic rock artist Marilyn Manson collapsed on stage during his concert in Saskatoon, Canada on Wednesday night.

E! Online reports the shocking performer was singing his song “Beautiful People” during the show’s encore when he collapsed.

Since Manson is known for his shocking antics, the band continued to play thinking the collapse was part of the act. However, when stagehands realized Manson was in medical crisis, they rushed to help.

EMT medics treated Manson offstage. Manson’s reps have not commented at this time on the collapse.

Last year Manson made headlines when he almost lost an ear in a brawl during his Twins of Evil Tour with Rob Zombie. Manson’s ear was in tact and 24 stitches helped mend him back to normal.

Manson’s 2013 winter tour is promoting his album Born Villain, which received a Grammy award nomination.

His tour will touch base again in the United States on Feb. 12 in Seattle, WA.
