Mario Lopez and wife Courtney announce they are expecting baby number 2 (Video)

X Factor co-host Mario Lopez is the most recent celeb to announce that he and wife Courtney are expecting a baby later this year.

According to People, the excited parents-to-be twice over announced the exciting news Tuesday on Extra.

Helping to make the announcement was Lopez’s 2-year-old daughter, Gia, who donned a shirt which reads “Big sister Gia.”

Lopez gushed, “I am the happiest father in the world. We cannot wait to welcome baby Lopez number two into our lives.” The Extra team threw the expecting parents a baby shower on the spot.

Courtney revealed her due date to Us Weekly, stating, “I'm due around Gia's birthday [September 11].”

Of her pregnancy she notes, "I'm in that stage where I can't fit into my regular clothes anymore but I can't fit into maternity clothes yet either. But I'm good, it's all good!" As for what is making her the happiest during this stage, "Capt'n Crunch," the expecting mama explains.

Mario and Courtney were married last year after four years of dating.
