Mario Lopez hopes second baby with Courtney Mazza is a boy

After Mario Lopez and wife Courtney Mazza shared with the world that they are expecting their second child, he admitted at the Feb. 22 National Hispanic Media Coalition's 16th annual Impact Awards Gala that this time around he is hoping for a baby boy.

Lopez, who married Mazza on Dec. 1, 2012, told Us Weekly about his personal preference.

"I already have a girl, so if we have a boy that would be nice," Lopez said. "But I won't be disappointed if we don't."

No matter what the baby’s gender turns out to be, the couple plan to keep it to themselves.

"We're going to keep it old school," Lopez added.

According to Examiner.com, the Extra and X-Factor host revealed the news of the pregnancy on Feb. 19 by dressing his daughter Gia, who was born Sept. 2011, in a “big sister” shirt. Their newest baby is due in September, but the couple did not give an exact due date.
