Actor Matt Damon certainly knows how to steal the spotlight. After taking control of Jimmy Kimmel last month, the actor is now going on a bathroom strike - at least that’s what he says in a new video for charity.
In the video for Water.org, Damon holds a press conference, fielding questions from stunned reporters who can’t understand why he would refuse to use a bathroom or a toilet until everyone around the world has clean sanitation.
“In protest of this global tragedy -- until this issue is resolved, until everybody has access to clean water and sanitation -- I will not go to the bathroom,” the Promised Land actor states, reports The Huffington Post.
Damon also discussed World Toilet Day, asking the reporters what they did during the November event. Water.org, which was co-founded by Damon, uses the event to raise awareness of people who don’t have access to toilets. The nonprofit group says that 2.5 billion people do not have access, spreading disease and causing water pollution.
Damon fields questions from stunned reporters who are shocked to hear that the actor won’t go to the bathroom at all until the mission is accomplished. At the end, Damon jokingly says, “All reporters are d*cks.”
Last month, Damon hijacked Jimmy Kimmel after he was bumped from an episode of the show.
