Maya Rudolph and director husband Paul Thomas Anderson are reportedly expecting their fourth child.
A source tells The Hollywood Reporter that NBC is reconsidering trying to revive her show Up All Night in the wake of both her pregnancy and Christina Applegate’s exit.
Rudolph reportedly informed executives at NBC that she is, indeed, pregnant and the writers were working on incorporating it into the script for next season. However, the new shake-ups don’t look like the show will be on for much longer and the staff is searching for new positions.
According to Zap2it, Rudolph, 40, and Anderson, 42, have three kids together already; daughters Pearl, 7, Lucille, 3, and son Jack, 19 months.
As we previously reported, Applegate confirmed her departure from the show with a statement, saying “It’s been a great experience working on Up All Night, but the show has taken a different creative direction and I decided it was best for me to move on to other endeavors."
She added, “Working with Lorne Michaels has been a dream come true and I am grateful he brought me into his TV family. I will miss the cast, producers and crew, and wish them the best always.”
