Musical artist MC Hammer was arrested last Thursday on suspicion of obstructing an officer in the performance of his duties, but claims that his arrest was the result of racial profiling.
According to TV Guide, the rapper, who was also arrested for resisting an officer, took to Twitter to share his side of the story.

Hammer also said that during the incident, he was giving the officer his ID when the officer reached inside the car and tried to pull him out, Examiner.com reported.
"It was comical to me until he pulled out his guns, blew his whistle and yelled for help (MallCop),” he added. “But make no mistake he's dangerous ... only thing more dangerous than a scared man with a gun, is a scared man with an agenda, a gun and a badge. I was cited for obstruction."
The Herald-Tribune reported that Hammer, whose real name is Stanley Kirk Burrell, has no prior record, and was cited, booked and released.
