Mindy McCready commits suicide at 37

Mindy McCready, 37, is dead, having apparently committed suicide.

According to TMZ, the Cleburne County Sheriff's deputies found Mindy on her porch and pronounced her dead on scene from a single gunshot wound.

The neighbors called the Sheriff’s Office reporting that they heard two shots fired.

Mindy’s body will be taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for a full autopsy and an investigation will commence.

Mindy had attempted suicide twice before in 2005 and 2008 and, according to CNN, had struggled with addiction and mental illness.

She even appeared on an episode of Celeb Rehab with Dr. Drew Pinksy.

David Wilson, the father of her youngest son, committed suicide last month, also from a gunshot wound. Mindy was not handling the loss well.

Her two sons had been removed from her home on February 6 and she was committed to a treatment facility, but was released two days later.

Mindy became popular at just age 18 with the hit “Guys Do It All the Time.”
