Details into the death of Mindy McCready are beginning to surface.
Investigators have confirmed that McCready did not leave a suicide note, E! News reports.
The 37-year-old’s death was confirmed Sunday after she shot herself in the head. Officials have confirmed that the cause of death was suicide from a single gunshot wound.
Cleburne County Sheriff Marty Moss states that the investigation is still “ongoing.”
E! notes that the sheriff would not comment if David Wilson, who took his own life in January, left a suicide note at the time of his death.
Many issues continue to surface surrounding her untimely death, including the living situation for her two sons. Currently McCready’s parents are noted as most likely to receive custody.
Additionally, Dr. Drew has come under fire as McCready is the fifth Celebrity Rehab alum to die.
McCready was in treatment just days before her death. The troubled country singer was unable to overcome from the depression she felt following Wilson’s death.
