One Direction’s Harry Styles has had a rough week. After getting hit in the groin by a fan's shoe on stage, Styles ‘earned’ the villain of the year title at the NME Awards in London. His band was also named worst band.
During their show in Glasgow, a fan threw a shoe at Styles to get his attention, but ended up hurting him in the process. Styles and the group had another show in Glasgow on Wednesday, which prevented them from attending, reports NME’s awards show, reports MTV News. Still, Styles did check out the results from the fan votes and tweeted a ‘thank you’ to the magazine.
And thank you to @nme for my award tonight. Gotta take the rough with the smooth eh?
