One Direction's Harry Styles hit in the groin by fan's shoe (Video)

One die-hard One Direction fan wanted to be noticed by boy-bander Harry Styles so much that she threw a shoe, bringing Styles to his knees after the shoe hit him right in the groin.

Styles, along with Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson took a moment from their concert in Glasgow, Scotland to talk to the crowd when a shoe was thrown on stage, New York Daily News reports. As Styles picked up the shoe, another one came his way hitting right in his nether region. He was brought down on the concert stage.

So how did his fellow band members and fans react?

With laughter. Payne quipped, "Man down!" The 19-year-old singer then stood up and did lunges to work the pain out.

The perpetrator, 1D fan Jade Anderson, was turned in to security by her mother, Entertainment Wise reports. She called into the local radio station where she defended her actions.

“I just wanted him to touch something belonging to me. I didn’t mean to hit him where I hit him, I’m really embarrassed,” she confessed.

According to the report, Jade managed to get her shoes back and was allowed back in the concert after Niall and Harry requested that she be allowed back in.
