Kerri Washington and Jamie Foxx present the award for Best Live Action Short Film, which was received by Shawn Christensen for Curfew. They also awarded the Best Documentary Short Subject to Inocente.
Liam Neeson then presents three more films nominated for Best Picture, which include Argo, Lincoln, and Zero Dark Thirty.
Ben Affleck comes on stage to present the award for Best Documentary Feature, which goes to Searching for Sugar Man.
Jennifer Garner and Jessica Chastain then present the nominees for Best Foreign Language Film, with Amour taking home the trophy.
John Travolta then takes the stage to honor the best musicals in the last 10 years; Catherine Zeta Jones takes her cue to sing “All That Jazz” from Chicago.
Jennifer Hudson also takes the stage to sing “And I Am Telling You,” the hit song from Dreamgirls, and receives a standing ovation from the audience.
The cast of Les Miserables then comes on stage to perform. Star Trek, co-stars Chris Pine and Zoe Saldana follow up the show on stage to talk about the Academy’s Scientific and Technical Awards.
Mark Wahlberg and Ted take the stage to announce the nominees for Best Sound Mixer. Andy Nelson, Mark Patterson, Simon Hayes take the award for their work in Les Miserables. They also present the award for Best Sound Editing, which ends in a tie. Zero Dark Thirty and Skyfall both win the award. This is only the sixth tie in the history of the Academies.
MacFarlane then announces Christopher Plummer, who presents the award for Best Supporting Actress. Anne Hathaway wins for Les Miserables.
