There will be a ton of much-talked-about performances and performers at the Grammy Awards this year, but singer Pink won’t be one of them.
According to Entertainmentwise, the 33-year-old, who is nominated for a Grammy this year, took to Twitter to explain that she’s hard at work rehearsing for her The Truth About Love tour.
“I'm sorry to say I won't be performing on the Grammies (sic) tomorrow,” the “Just Give Me a Reason” singer tweeted late Saturday. “I'm grateful I was invited and grateful to be nominated, but I am in the thick of it in Phoenix putting the finishing touch on my show 4 Truth About Love Tour, which, hopefully and definitely, will be amazing.”
She added, “It's beyond my imagination to be heading into a tour that is already sold out. I've never done THAT before. NO PRESSURE of course xoxoxoxoxo.”
Pink’s presence on the Grammy stage will surely be missed since she always gives jaw-dropping live performances. Her most impressive Grammy performance so far is “Glitter in the Air" from 2010. The performance featured a mix of acrobatics and powerful live singing.
