Being the younger sister of Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, certainly has its perks, and Pippa Middleton has just landed herself a new gig as a columnist for the British magazine Waitrose Kitchen.
Pippa told John Brown Media, "I'm delighted to be writing for Waitrose Kitchen, a magazine that's always been a source of inspiration to me, for its extensive spectrum of food and beautiful style. My column, ‘Pippa’s Friday Night Feasts’ will be an exciting opportunity to share my own passion and enthusiasm for food and entertaining and I can't wait to get started."
Pippa is more than qualified for this role, being no stranger to the party lifestyle herself. Her parents even run a company called Party Pieces, which provides party supplies and themes. Pippa herself also wrote her own party planning book last year called Celebrate, much to the dismay of critics, who called the book "pointless" and a "cultural tea bag for the American market," reports omg!.
However, William Sitwell, editor of Waitrose, is more than happy to have Pippa on board, stating, "Pippa will be an excellent contributor to the magazine, bringing with her a wealth of experience of entertaining, gained in part from working at her family's party business. Readers will love her relaxed and easy entertaining ideas which will help with the preparation for all sorts of occasions," reports John Brown Media.
You can find Pippa's first column in the magazine's April issue, on stands March 28th in the UK.
