Michael Jackson’s son, Prince Michael Jackson, has landed his first job in the entertainment industry.
At age 16, Prince has been hired as a reporter for Entertainment Tonight. Some find his new gig strange, considering the lengths his father went to keep him out of the public eye as a child.
Prince got a lesson on journalism techniques on-camera from ET’s Brooke Anderson before conducting his very first interview. He told Anderson, “I'm looking to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwriter and actor," CNN reports.
His first interview was with Oz: The Great and Powerful director Sam Raimi and its stars James Franco and Zach Braff.
“I've been raised around stuff like this so it was different being the interviewer instead of the one being interviewed,” Prince told ET about switching roles, Daily Mail reports.
Prince was 12 when his father died, leaving he and siblings Paris and Blanket. Since then, he's made a few public appearances to honor his late father.
