Rihanna accompanies Chris Brown to court

It seems Rihanna and Chris Brown have taken their relationship to the next level as the “Diamonds” singer accompanied the controversial rapper during his court appearance Wednesday.

TMZ reports that Brown showed up with Rihanna to discuss allegations that he lied about his community service hours. Brown is on probation for beating up Rihanna in 2009.

Rihanna sat with Brown’s mother while her beau defended allegations of lying.

No additional information was revealed in court as the judge noted that he needed more time to look over the evidence provided after the D.A. came forward alleging that Brown persuaded Virgin officials to lie for him.

According to CNN, Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, responded to claims that Brown lied about his community service, saying, “Apparently the district attorney's office has completely lost their minds. They are making scurrilous, libelous and defamatory statements and apparently have lost their ability to read their own reports."

Brown is slated to return back in court in early April with or without Rihanna.
