Rihanna actually went to court with Chris Brown yesterday, during a hearing that was meant for Brown and his lawyer Mark Geragos to prove that he did complete the amount of community service hours he said he did.
The “Diamonds” singer is pictured sitting in one of the rows behind Brown, her on-again boyfriend. He’s on probation in the first place for his 2009 beating against her.
At a press conference after the hearing, Geragos maintained "I have never had a client who has been tortured like Chris Brown has.” He fired off on the D.A. saying they are “paralyzed with the thought his probation will be terminated. If that happens they won't be able to jock him around like they've been jocking him around," TMZ reports.
Vh1 reports that while in court, Geragos worked diligently to prove that Brown had completed the 180 hours of community service that the D.A. doubts he did.
He showed up with invoices that his client had paid $31,534.70 for security during the hours he did as well as various other documentation. The D.A. is accusing Brown of having his mother fill out the community service documents among other things, which would violate his probation.
But according to Geragos, ”what we’ve uncovered so far should shock the conscience of the court. And this is only the tip of the iceberg.”
