What do Rihanna and Princess Diana have in common? Quite a bit, according to a new cover story that just hit stands in London.
The Sunday Times Magazine, a weekly magazine that comes inside The Sunday Times newspaper in London, revealed a cover which shows half of Rihanna's face placed next to half of Princess Diana's, along with a title that reads "The Princess & The Showgirl."
In the article written by Camille Paglia, she asserts that these two famous women both had a "ravishingly seductive flirtation with the world press."
"Like Diana," she continues, "Rihanna has worryingly drifted into using photo ops to send messages of allure, defiance or revenge in a turbulent relationship with an errant partner."
Both Rihanna and Princess Di had troublesome relationships with famous men, and Diana famously told BBC, "There were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded," in regards to her husband Charles' obsession with Camilla Parker Bowles.
In Rihanna's case, this refers to her on-again off-again relationship with R&B singer Chris Brown, but is it enough to make such a comparison between the two?
Rihanna herself was happy with the comparison and posted a picture on Instagram with the caption, "When your face is pic-stitched to Princess Diana's on the cover of The Sunday Times.... I mean... #extraordinaRIHbehavior."
