Rihanna has been added to the long list of talent performing at the Grammys, and will be joined on stage by Bruno Mars and Sting.
According to the Grammy’s official website, current nominees Rihanna and Bruno Mars will collaborate on a performance for the 55th annual Grammy Awards on February 10.
The unlikely trio is one of several mash-ups. Previously, we reported that Elton John had reached out, urging Ed Sheeran to accompany him for a duet. Additionally, Alicia Keys will sing alongside Maroon 5.
The newest trio may not be so accidental. In fact, Bruno Mars admitted to MTV that he grew up listening to and performing The Police songs. Many have noted the distinct similarities between his latest song, “Locked Out of Heaven,” and The Police hits “Roxanne” and “Message in a Bottle.”
Other musicians that will be performing include Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert, The Black Keys, fun.,The Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, Frank Ocean, Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Jack White and Justin Timberlake.
Presenters include Katy Perry, Kaley Cuoco, Neil Patrick Harris, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Beyoncé, Prince, Hunter Hayes, Jennifer Lopez, Pauley Perrette and Keith Urban.
LL Cool J will be hosting for the second year in a row.
