Josh Duhamel might be a married man, but he has some pretty intimate scenes with Ryan Seacrest’s girlfriend Julianne Hough in their new movie Safe Haven.

While promoting the film, which hits theaters tomorrow, Fergie’s husband explained that he had an “awkward” conversation with Seacrest.

Duhamel appeared on the Today Show and told the co-hosts, "These movies are very intimate and I just wanted to say, 'Listen, you don't have to worry about anything,'" Today.com reports.

He added, "Ryan was more cool with it than I was. It was an awkward conversation."

The actor also revealed on the show that he cried during The Notebook, explaining “I don't think we give guys enough credit.”

He said of he and Lauer, “We're sensitive souls."

The Huffington Post reports that Hough revealed in an interview that Safe Haven isn’t her favorite Nicholas Sparks novel, it’s A Walk to Remember.

She explained, “Of course I love The Notebook, but A Walk to Remember is underrated. I loved that movie so much. What I loved again -- I don't know, maybe it's because I related -- was that they picked Mandy Moore.”
