Samsung and Android keep making headlines with their growth in the Smartphone world.
CNN reports that it’s not just about being as good as Apple anymore; you have to be better. That’s just the case with Samsung and their Galaxy S3.
Before, the iPhone and iPad were the ideal products of what mobile devices should be. Competitors would copycat off Apple to create their own version of the devices. Now, after a couple years, Android might become greater than Apple.
One way Samsung has grown so much is because they aren’t afraid to do different things. The iPhone is a very safe phone that doesn’t usually change. When they announced the longer screen on the iPhone 5, people created an uproar. That usually doesn’t happen with Samsung or Android phones because there are so many of them out there.
One example of doing something different is Samsung's Galaxy Note. The Note could be classified as a mix between a Smartphone and a tablet. Critics chewed the Note apart for its bulkiness and remembrance of the palm era. Samsung laughed to the bank, selling over 10 million Galaxy Notes.
They then kept laughing and brought out an even bigger updated version, the Galaxy Note 2. Last counted they sold 5 million of them.
Samsung and their commercials directed toward Apple are sure to pop up again with a new Samgsung Galaxy S4 and Apple's iPhone 5S. Both could both be seen in 2013.
