Ticket badges will go on sale at 9 a.m. PST for San Diego’s Comic-Con International expo, which draws thousands of pop culture fans and professionals to geek out over their fandoms.
The 2013 convention will take place July 18-21 at the San Diego Convention Center, according to the organization’s website.
Those wanting to order a badge must have a valid member ID number. The site to register for an ID will close Feb. 12.
The annual expo features actor, director and writer panels, major movie and TV screenings, and merchant booths, according to the Los Angeles Times. Attendees at last year’s Comic-Con got a sneak preview at footage of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and Iron Man 3.
Four-day badges for adults cost $150, or $175 including Wednesday’s preview night. This is $75 (or 87) for juniors age 13-17, U.S. military members and seniors. Single-day badges Thursday-Saturday cost $42 for adults and $21 for juniors, military and seniors.
Children under 12 attend free with adults.
