Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber spending time together post split, sources confirm

Sources have confirmed that Justin Bieber is in fact spending time with his ex-girlfriend, singer/actress Selena Gomez, but the two are doing so just as friends.

A source close to the couple confirmed to E! News that the two are spending time together, noting that their relationship status remains “complicated.”

Bieber and Gomez, who broke up for the second time in early January, having been on speaking terms for quite some time, sending text messages and exchanging phone calls, and are now trying to spend time with each other without the label of girlfriend and boyfriend looming over their heads.

Confirmation that the on again off again couple have been hanging out was made via Twitter by YLA who had Jelena as their special guests. YLA’s Brooke Adams took to Twitter to write, “No big deal.. Bieber and Gomez front seat at our first show. Musta been the music. <3."

According to sources, the two were not seen holding hands, kissing or hugging. The two are noted as taking the breakup seriously and easing back into things “slowly.”

A source explains, “They are on good terms and hanging out, but they are not back together."
