Selena Gomez released her last album, When the Sun Goes Down, in 2011. She has been promising brand new music for a while, and now she’s almost ready to let her fans hear it.
After teasing song lyrics like, "I can make the stars dance” and “It’s a sad, sad serenade,” the 20-year-old singer gave an update on the status of her new album on Twitter.
“Whose ready for an album?” she tweeted Tuesday. “All the songs have been decided coming to you soon.”

Selena, who worked with Rock Mafia on this album, previously hinted about what to expect on the new album. In January, she talked about her new music with MTV News. She said the songs would be more personal than the songs on her previous albums.
"I think the older I'm getting the more I'm just kind of like I'm cool to share my side of the stories as much as I can, so I'm having a lot of fun,” she explained.
At the time, the “Love You Like a Love Song” singer said she hoped to release a new song by March. It looks like she’s right on track.
