Despite impressive ratings, this year's Oscars host says he is done entertaining Hollywood's glitterati on their most-cherished night.
Hosting the Academy Awards for Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane was a one-time deal.
When a follower on Twitter asked the comedic powerhouse if he would host again should producers ask, he replied: "No way. Lotta fun to have done it, though."
While many stars chimed in on MacFarlane's hosting gig, he is very pleased to get the approval of one certain friend: his cat.
E! News reports MacFarlane Tweeted, "My cat said the show went well," before posting a photo of the cute feline.
Over 40 million Americans agreed with the cat. E! News reports 40.3 million viewers tuned in to watch the Oscars, up from last year's 39. 3 million. MacFarlane remained rather tame during his performance, opting for family-friendly entertainment with only a few sprinkles of churlish spice.
It appears MacFarlane (and his cat) are perfectly content leaving the hall of Oscar hosts on top.
