Texas woman gives birth to two sets of twins

By Deana DeLisio,

A Texas woman has given birth to two sets of identical twin boys at The Woman’s Hospital on Valentine’s Day.

The four boys were delivered by Caesarean section, and Digital Spy reported that Tressa and Manuel Montalvo Jr. had not used any fertility drugs.

The likelihood of conceiving two sets of identical twins is one in seventy million. Two of the boys shared one placenta, as the other two shared a completely other, which makes them unable to be classified as quadruplets, reported FOX News.

At ten weeks, Tressa was told that she would be having twins, then, at one of her next visits, the doctor heard a third heartbeat. It was later uncovered that the couple would be having two sets of twins- not quadruplets.

The couple already has a two year old son, Memphis, and although they were just trying to give him one brother or sister, he now has four baby brothers.

“We didn’t expect it, we were trying for just one and we were blessed with four,” said Tressa.

The couple still wants a daughter.
