'Twilight' producers give strict instructions to Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart to keep up relationship until after DVD release

Twilight fans have held out hope that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart could work things out in real life. According to several reports this week, however, the couple is through but keeping quiet until they can milk all the possible money out of the franchise.

According to a “source very close to the couple”, Hollywoodlife.com reported that the two actors have been instructed by Twilight producers not to announce their real-life breakup until a few weeks after the DVD release of Breaking Dawn Part 2.

Countless reports this week continue to speculate about the couple's relationship status, since the two are continents apart at the moment. Yahoo! also reported that another source wrote on Perez Hilton’s website that the two were told not to go public about a split or any “relationship trouble” until “everything has sold.”

Breaking Dawn — Part 2 is the final installment of the Twilight series.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the release date for the DVD was announced in January as March 2. A separate trailer was made for the release featuring Stewart and Pattinson, teasing extra behind-the-scenes features to the making of the final installment.
