Following the tragic news of country singer Mindy McCready’s death, Vivid Entertainment is halting the distribution of a sex tape she was in entitled Baseball Mistress.
Vivid Entertainments Steve Hirsch tells TMZ the distribution of the video is on hold and may remain on hold indefinitely in the wake of McCready’s tragic suicide.
The tape features the Celebrity Rehab star and an ex-boyfriend. In the video she discusses the affair she had with MLB’s Roger Clemens. It is unclear when and where the tape was shot, but was first released in 2010.
According to the report, McCready never authorized the release of the alleged sex tape.
In addition to freezing the tapes release, Hirsch notes, although difficult, he plans to also release any digitally released footage from the tape as well.
McCready was found dead from apparent self-inflicted gunshot would Sunday evening. Her death follows a month long emotional battle after finding the news that her longtime partner, David Wilson, had taken his own life.
