Vivid Entertainment halts distribution of Mindy McCready's sex tape 'Baseball Mistress' following apparent suicide

By Gina DiFalco,

A sex tape that the late Mindy McCready made called Baseball Mistress is re-surfacing in the headlines after her tragic death this past Sunday.

Vivid Entertainment, the company that distributes the tape, has decided to halt distribution of it in the wake of her death.

Vivid CEO Steve Hirsch told TMZ that they have no plans to continue distribution of the tape and it’s been halted indefinitely.

The sex tape was released after McCready’s appearance on Celebrity Rehab in 2010 but it isn’t known when it was made. Her co-star in the tape is her boyfriend at the time, and the name comes from the country singer talking about her affair with married baseball player Roger Clemens.

Clemens has told the New York Daily News of McCready’s apparent suicide, "Yes, that is sad news. I had heard over time that she was trying to get peace and direction in her life."

She took her own life using a gun about a month after fiancé David Wilson did.
