2013’s spring Fashion week has brought a variety of new trends for the season. Both bright colors and plain whites have been spotted on the runway as the season’s latest styles.
While in the past, wearing one color on both your pants and shirt was a fashion mistake; it’s now the newest style on the runway. From bright oranges, to subtle pinks, wearing one color to complete your outfit just might help you make a fashion statement this spring. Wearing too much of the same color, however, can still be distracting. Pair a slightly lighter colored green shirt with darker green jeans to create a look that won’t make you look like a vegetable.
Also spotted on the runway are solid white outfits. Whether it be lace, bows, or knitted, wearing a textured white shirt or skirt is in this season. Wearing a lacy or knitted shirt or skirt adds an airy lightness to your look, making it perfect for spring.
Another less likely spotted trend on the spring runways is leather. While leather has been known to be in style during the fall and winter months, it has been making its way onto the runways. Leather jackets, hats, pants, belts, and vests can add a spunky touch to your spring look.
