10 year old boy keeps father alive for a week

Bienvenu Asumani, 45, was kept alive in his Nebraska home for a week by his 10 year old son after he slipped at home and severely banged his head.

KPopstarz.com reported that Peter Asumani cared for his father by giving him foods filled with nutritional value and plenty of liquids.

Authorities showed up at the home where the father and son live on Friday after the principal from the boy’s school called police concerned that the boy hadn’t been in school for four days, as stated by The Associated Press.

Reports state that the father was breathing and his eyes were open, however he was not able to communicate. It is still unknown if the boy was familiar with calling 911 or if he ever reached out to anyone else for help.

The ten year old boy has been placed into foster care while his father has been taken to Bryan Medical Center West hospital.

The boy’s mother is said to live in Africa.
