On Saturday morning, a taxiing Air India jet clipped the wing of a JetBlue plane as it was preparing for takeoff at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.
According to My Fox NY, at about 6 a.m., JetBlue Flight 145 had exited from Gate 5 with over 100 passengers.
After the accident, the flight to West Palm Beach, Florida was delayed.
According to My Fox NY, the pilot in the cockpit recording stated, “Jet Blue 145: we had a problem. The plane got jerked around pretty good and I don't know what happened if someone just hit us or what”
According to The AFP, the Air India flight was coming in when its wing clipped the JetBlue rudder.
There were no injuries.
The cockpit recording obtained by My Fox NY also stated, “I'd like to know what's going on I have a full airplane and no one's been in communication with me at all," said the pilot to ground control.
