Amy Poehler responds to Taylor Swift's Vanity Fair jabs

By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

Amy Poehler is apologizing to Taylor Swift after the “Red” singer slammed her and her Golden Globes cohost, Tina Fey, for poking fun at her love life at last month’s awards ceremony.

As we previously reported, Swift sat down with Vanity Fair where she addressed the jabs the women took at her, stating, “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women,” a quote made famous by Madeleine Albright.

The Hollywood Reporter reached out to the Parks and Recreation actress after the quote went viral.

Poehler states, “Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff.”

Fey took a jab at the Grammys, telling the 23-year-old singer to stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son, in an apparent jab at her love life.
