Amy Poehler on Taylor Swift: 'I am going to hell, but for other reasons'

After hearing Taylor Swift's response on her joke, Amy Poehler said that she herself is going to hell, but for other reasons.

When reached for comments by The Hollywood Reporter, Poehler said, "Aw, I feel bad if she was upset."

Responding to Swift's statement that "there's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women," the comedienne said, "I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl.

"That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff."

Amy Poehler hosted this year's Golden Globetogether with her Baby Mama co-star, and of course, made a bunch of jokes, E! News reported.

One of the jokes was about Swift's love life. They joked around with her, telling that she should stay away from Michael J. Fox's son. Poehler also suggested, she could use “some 'me time' to learn about herself." She then advised her to "go for it."

The camera did not directly cut to her because the singer was allegedly in the restroom.

When asked about this, Swift said, "You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people. She said to me she had heard a quote that she loved that said, ‘There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women.'"
