Anonymous hacks into German film studio, confirms Emam Watson for '50 Shades of Grey

By Steven Mitchell,

The online hacking group, Anonymous, is in the news again after hacking into a German film studio's website and stealing documents and email addresses. The hackers released some news on a rumor many book lovers have been curious about.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Anonymous stole documents from Constantin Film and posted them online. The documents detail films in development that the movie studios are considering acquiring. The hacking group also worked with another group of hackers called M3du5a.

One major document the group revealed was that Emma Watson will play Anastasia Steele in the big-screen adaptation of 50 Shades of Grey, reports Examiner. It has been long rumored that Watson was up to play the lead character, but it was never confirmed.

Taking on the role of Anastasia Steele would be different for Watson fans to see. The Harry Potter star is growing up and this role would definitely show that.

This is nothing new for Anonymous. Just last year, the group hacked into the Japanese government in retaliation to new anti-piracy laws.

How vulnerable are big time movie studios to hackers? Constantin Film admitted that documents were hacked into, but said that everything was outdated.
