Are Kate Middleton and Prince William having a baby girl?

By Stephanie Kaplan,
In a recent outing, the Duchess of Cambridge had a word slip-up leaving people to believe she will be having a daughter

As each day goes by, the world becomes more eager to hear any news concerning the “royal baby.” While the gender of the baby is unknown to the public, the Duchess of Cambridge recently had a verbal slip-up, making people contemplate if she is having a daughter.

E! Online reports that when gifted a white teddy bear, Middleton started to reply “Thank you, I'll take that for my d--,” but then zipped her lips mid-sentence.

The site added that standby-er Sandra Cook shared “I said to [Middleton], ‘You were going to say daughter, weren't you?'" However, she casually replied, “No, I don't know.”

Us Weekly reports that the royal couple actually do know the sex of the baby, but are choosing to remain quiet. A source told the magazine, “They've only told their parents.”

No matter what the gender of the baby actually is, their child will be an heir regardless, after recently lifting the rule of a male-only heir. Middleton is expected to give birth this July, and has recently gushed over being able to feel the baby kick.
