Well, Arnold Schwarzenegger has certainly had nine lives — or at least nine careers! After recently announcing his return to the Terminator franchise for Terminator 5, the former governor of California has also decided to come back as the editor of Muscle & Fitness and Flex magazines.
Schwarzenegger has had a long history with the publications and has appeared on the cover of both of the magazines over 60 times. He also previously held the editor title before his stint as governor, according to New York Magazine.
Schwarzenegger claims, “It was in these magazines that I found the spark that inspired me to start lifting weights, and eventually move to America and realize my dreams.”
The CEO of American Media, Inc, David J. Pecker, seemed thrilled with the star’s return. The Hollywood Reporter sited Pecker as saying, “He is a universally recognized star, and an iconic leader of the fitness movement. His contributions will enormously benefit our print and digital readers, while driving value for our advertisers.”
Schwarzenegger will be extremely busy in the upcoming time between contributing to the magazines and preparing for the Terminator 5 2014 release.
