Backstreet Boys reunite with producer Max Martin in recording studio

By Christopher Rosa,

Over a decade after the release of the Backstreet Boys’ platinum albums Millenium and Black and Blue, the legendary boy-band sensation is back in the studio with Max Martin, the producer behind many of BSB’s biggest hits.

According to Perez Hilton, Martin is responsible for major Backstreet Boys hits such as “Larger than Life,” “Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)," "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" and "As Long As You Love Me."

Band-mate Howie Dorough tweeted, “In LA today with bsb recording a smash with Max Martin. He wrote the majority of our biggest hits. Great to have the dream team back again!!”

The Backstreet Boys were an international pop sensation between the mid-to-late 1990s and early 2000s. The band reunited in 2007 for a tour and has made plans for another reunion in 2013.

Martin is a world-renowned hit-maker. Best known for his work with BSB, Britney Spears and *NSYNC during the teen pop boom of the millennium, he has gone on to produce chart-topping hits for popular female artists Katy Perry, Ke$ha, P!nk and Taylor Swift.
