There is a new comic book about Paul McCartney being released sometime this week, and it will reportedly detail the breakup of the Beatles.
Digital Spy reports that an animated 24-page comic book will be released this week, titled Paul McCartney: Carry That Weight. The cover is of a portrait-like painting of McCartney, and its contents will reportedly hit upon the rifts created with his band mates.
According to a report in Reuters, the book will be released this week in print and digital formats. It will be published by Bluewater Productions, a fairly-new comic book publishing group spread throughout the U.S. Darren Davis, President and Editor-in-Chief of the group said that this comic book will tell the story of the Beatles breakup.
"These are comic books. They're meant to be fun but educational, as well," Davis said.
Many of Bluewater’s comic book and graphic novel releases have been about celebrities and public figures, often times telling the animated stories of people like Nicki Minaj, Oprah Winfrey, William Shatner and Adam West.
