Danielle Fishel, former star of the 90’s hit Boy Meets World leaves little to the imagination as Maxim’s April cover girl.
According to Us Weekly, Fishel is set to reprise her role as Topanga on the show’s prequel, Girl Meets World which will rejoin viewers with Corey and Topanga but will focus on their young daughter.
The actress shared with Maxim how the writers developed her character’s unique name. “Michael Jacobs [shows createor] says he was driving down the highway when production called and said, ‘We need a name for this character!’ “ Fishel reveals. “He happened to be driving past Topanga Canyon, so he said, ‘Topanga.’”
And no, her and her onscreen love never actually dated: “That rumor was entirely my fault because I once said, on The Tyra Banks Show, that Ben and I went on a date, and that turned into ‘Danielle and Ben dated.’ We went on one date, when I was about 15, and by the time the dinner was over we realized mutually that we were more like family than lovers.”
The actress recently graduated college, where she admits other students were noticeably star struck. Fishel notes, “I even had teachers who called me Topanga in class by mistake!”
Consistent with her new role as a mother, Danielle's look for the spread is housewife meets pinup girl. The 31 year old bares cleavage in lingerie and high heels. While she no longer rocks her trademark wild waves, her hair is as voluminous and lovely as ever.
