Britney Spears congratulates sister Jamie Lynn on engagement

"Scream and Shout" singer Britney Spears is expressing her excitement for baby sister Jamie Lynn following her Twitter announcement that she is engaged to 30-year-old businessman Jamie Watson.

Spears took to Twitter Monday to send her congrats to her newly engaged sister. “So excited and happy for my sister, congrats @jamielynnspears - love you,” she wrote.

r expressed her own excitement, announcing her engagement on Instagram. She shared a picture of the dazzling diamond her fiancé gave her also on Instagram.

E! News notes that this will be the first marriage for 21-year-old Jamie Lynn. She was previously engaged to Casey Aldridge, whom she has a 4-year-old daughter with.

Spears recently called off her own engagement. She was set to marry Jason Trawick, whom she was engaged to for over a year. A rep for the couple announced that the decision to split was mutual.

Jamie Lynn and Jamie have not announced when they plan to wed.
