Brooke Burke-Charvet talks love, work, fitness and aging in 'Health' magazine

By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

Dancing with the Stars cohost Brooke Burke-Charvet is featured on the cover of Health magazine where the mother of 4 stuns and talks about the blessings of aging and not wanting to “look 25.”

Five months after revealing her battle with thyroid cancer, 41-year-old Burke-Charvet sat down with the magazine where she discussed staying fit, portion control, keeping the romance with her husband David alive, and aging.

“The 40s are a reality check. That's when some people are trying to look 25. I would like to slow down my aging process, but I don't want to look like a pumpkin, all swollen!” she explains. “I don't want to fill every flaw in my face. A few? But you have to embrace Mother Nature a little. I'm a woman. I'm a wife. I'm a mother of four. I don't want to look like a 25-year-old anymore. I want to be my best healthy self."

Burke-Charvet also discussed work, co-hosting alongside Tom Bergeron. She admits trying to stay “neutral” while watching the performers on DWTS, but recalls getting especially close to Rob Kardashian as he “lacked confidence” and eventually turned into a “dancing stud.”

Check out Burke-Charvet on DWTS when it kicks off the new season on March 18 on ABC.
