Justin Bieber seems to be a magnet for trouble recently, first abroad and now back at his Calabasas, Calif. home.
According to TMZ, the Canadian pop star is now being accused of battery by a neighbor.
Steve Whitmore, spokesman of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, told NY Daily News, that the call came in at 9:08 a.m. on Tuesday.
"The neighbor made allegations against Mr. Bieber of misdemeanor battery, which is unwanted touching, and threats,” Whitmore stated.
TMZ originally reported that the altercation was over loud parties that took place at the singer’s home while he was away on tour. However, as of 1:34 p.m., TMZ stated that the neighbor was actually upset over Bieber racing a new Ferrari up and down the road.
E! Online states that there were no official details related to Bieber’s actual actions while the Washington Post reports that Melissa Victor, a representative of the young star, did not return a comment on the situation.
TMZ cites a source that says that Bieber had no physical contact with the neighbor and had his security escort the accuser from his property.
"Nobody was injured, nobody was arrested and there are no charges," Whitmore told the NY Daily News. "People say stuff, and we have to find out if it's real. We're going to talk to everybody involved. Everybody is going to cooperate."
