Casey Anthony, the young mother who was accused of killing of her two-year-old daughter Caylee 2008, will make her first public appearance since being acquitted of the murder. Since the acquittal in 2011, Anthony has being living a private life and trying to stay as far away from the media and public as possible, but she is forced to show her face since filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection.
According to NBCNews, Anthony owes close to $800,000, most of it belonging to her former defense lawyer, Jose Baez. Even though she was found not guilty of murdering her child, she was convicted of lying to police authorities on the disappearance of Caylee, which is also where some of her debt stems from.
Anthony claims that she only has as little as $1,100 to her name and will face her creditors and the public today in a Tampa court room at a Federal Bankruptcy hearing, according to NBCNews. It is a mystery as to where her income is coming from since she has been unemployed since her murder trial as stated by the OrlandoSentinel.
With Casey Anthony coming out of her hiding since 2011 it is unpredictable as to how the public will react since she is wildly unpopular and still considered guilty.
