Chelsea Clinton and husband purchase $10.5 million apartment

By Shay Trotter,

Chelsea Clinton and her husband Marc Mezvinsky are upgrading from their $4 million apartment to a new $10.5 million one in Manhattan’s Flatiron district.

Omg! reported that the couple’s new 5,000-square-foot pad, which is located inside the building The Whitman, includes four bedrooms, six and a half baths, a planting terrace, media room and home office.

The five-story building itself, which is on E. 26th Street, also features a gym, full-time doorman and refrigerated package room. It was recently renovated and will reportedly be “delivered in mint condition” for all of the new residents who move in.

According to Daily Mail, it is rumored that the pair took notice of the spacious property during a walk in the area and officially signed the contract last month.

Clinton was also reportedly seen giving a tour of the apartment earlier this month to her parents, former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. A source also told Omg! that the Clintons also took photos with some construction workers.
