Clinic's worker takes responsibility for ten partial birth abortions

An abortion clinic worker has admitted on Tuesday that she was responsible for snipping the spines of at least 10 babies while working at Dr. Kermit Gosnell’s West Philadelphia clinic.

Dr. Gosnell is on trial for the unorthodox abortions of seven babies and the death of a patient. Gosnell is accused of delivering late term abortions in which the babies were delivered alive, reported The Associated Press.

Adreienne Moton, one of Dr. Gosnell’s former workers, has testified that she is responsible for at least ten partial birth abortions and admits that Dr. Gosnell and another employee are responsible for partaking in such actions as well, as stated in Life News.

Morton goes on to recall that she had taken a picture of one of the babies in question admitting that he had a chance to survive given his size. She had assumed he was about thirty weeks and claims that Dr..Gosnell made a remark that the baby was so big he could have “walked to the bus stop.”

Dr. Gosnell’s wife Pearl, along with other workers, have plead guilty to assisting the doctor in such acts and will testify against him for a lesser sentence.

If convicted, Dr. Gosnell can face the death penalty.
