It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Danny DeVito has reunited with his wife of thirty years, actress Rhea Perlman, after a five month separation.
The couple has been through a lot together, starting way back in 1983 when People Magazine reported on their whirlwind romance. Perlman explained how she fell for DeVito in 1970 when she saw him play a stable boy in an off-Broadway play. Twelve years later, they married and have since had three children who are now 30, 28, and 26 years old.
The comedy couple made the shocking announcement that they were separating in October 2012. Rumors fueled by an apparent insider source for Radar Online swirled that Perlman wanted to end the marriage after ten years of watching DeVito flirt with other women.
This allegation was immediately squashed by a mutual spokesperson for both DeVito and Perlman, who told Gossip Cop that this rumor was a “complete fabrication.”
After five months of legal separation to work on their marriage, People Magazine reports that DeVito and Perlman are back together. A source said simply, “They love each other. Always have and always will.”
Since their divorce has been called off, DeVito and Perlman can maintain their proud distinction of being one of Hollywood’s longest-lasting couples.
