Demi Lovato continues to have a successful career. The one-time troubled star values her career enough to make much more out of it than just putting on a show personally and professionally. Lovato, 20, who has become a positive voice for teens, uses her personal struggles to inspire others to better themselves.
In a recent interview, she opened up about how she’d help Justin Bieber, 19, who, despite assuring fans he’s fine, seems to be going through a tough time.
Lovato said she’d be there for Justin if he ever needed advice.
"I would sit down with anybody and have that conversation...I want to help as many people as possible, not just people my age,” she said in a radio interview, according to Cambio. Adding about her friendship with the “Beauty and a Beat” singer, “At the end of the day, we kind of grew up in this thing around the same time...yeah, we used to hang out...he's a cool kid and I wish the best for him."
She added, “I don't really talk to him much anymore, but I'd still be there for him. For sure."
Lovato, since leaving rehab in 2010, has remained open to being a support for not just famous teens, but every teen. She recently said she’d rather have her career be much more meaningful than it is for some stars.
“A lot of celebrities don’t open up to their fans. They just tell them what they want to hear,” she stated, according to Gossip Cop. “They don’t really tell them things that can benefit their lives. They just, you know, maybe flaunt around a boyfriend and sell a couple albums. That’s not what my career is about.”
