According to Deadline the minion blimp is 165 feet long, 55 feet high, and 46 feet wide and will fly all over the U.S starting in California. The blimp plans to make tour stops along the bottom edge of the U.S along New Mexico and Texas and then up the east coast and can be tracked at the Dispicablimp Command Center . It also has appearance bookings for Telemundo’s Billboard Latin Music Awards in April, the Kentucky Derby in May, and the movie’s world premiere in June.

The blimp has been released in anticipation of Despicable Me 2’s summer release, set for July 3. Tuscon Weekly reports that the film will pick up right where the last one left of and will follow Gru as he attempts to help fight villains.
